Safety Audit: If I’m on the floor, I will always make it a priority to point out something that I consider to be an unsafe condition. I’m an extrusion guy, and I don’t claim to be an all-inclusive safety expert. However, I’ve been around a lot of extrusion equipment, and I know that in this industry, safety concerns are not taken lightly. There are the industry safety engineers focused on nothing but safety. They have made a career out of studying and quoting the OSHA standards, but they are not always able to help on a practical level.
